Wilderness Art Challenge
This a watercolor painting I painted for the Wilderness Art Challenge.
The photo posted was so beautiful I had to give it a try, the antlers were the most challenging of all, I needed my background to be darker to show off the sun reflecting so beautifully on the antlers.

Maria, your lighting in this painting is wonderful. You really captured the sunlight coming in on the left side. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThanks Theresa, I kept thinking that he can't be much different than painting a horse, head was similar, legs were similar, but the antlers, they were a different story, never painted or drew anything like that on a horse picture! It was fun though.
