This a painting that I painted from Gary Keimig's Wilderness Art Challenge. He posts a photo of wildlife that he took in his travels and allows artists to paint and post to his site.
It is so fun to see how different artists see the photo and see it painted in many different mediums.
It's wonderful Maria! I really like the look of the fur on the bear in front. :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteThank you Crystal, I loved your blog post today, I am going to print the quote and hang it on my new bulletin board which my husband hung over my painting desk today. Thanks for being so inspiring.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, the front bear came in nicely, but boy I struggle so much with landscape and background, I need to paint landscapes, composition for a while and learn......maybe a New Years resolution!?
ReplyDeleteI really like this! I enjoy the shadow bear in the back and the fur on the one in front is great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lee, my kids make fun of the bear in back, they think he is a blob bear, well, thats what i get for asking for their honest opinion!
