Painting number 18 of 28 for my February Challenge
I painted this with only Burnt sienna and Pthalo Blue, looking at it now a little Alizarin Crimson would have added a little punch!
10 more to go and they may be hit or miss as the next week will be a little hectic! And my painting mind is becoming a little soggy. (ok, a lot soggy).
Love it! The overlaid colours are just beautiful - and excellent leaving of the white ! xxReplyDelete
Thanks Pat, my favorite part is the shadow under the right flipper!ReplyDelete
Great composition and I like the value contrast. You are doing great with your challenge!ReplyDelete
Wow, Maria, you are on fire! You have really been doing some good painting!ReplyDelete
Thanks Theresa and Sheryl, I must admit, I am at a a bit of blank as to what comes next, I am really looking forward to slowing.....down, thanks for sticking with me, I am sure, somehow this is good for me!ReplyDelete

I love the neck of the seal. Good luck with next week. I'm assuming it's the convention that's gonna have you busy?ReplyDelete
Diana, radishes...hmm....maybe I will buy some from the store to paint, do I have to eat them when I'm done painting them!?ReplyDelete
Thanks Gretchen, yes, the convention will definitely add to a full week! Look forward to seeing your paintings in person.ReplyDelete
