Painting number 18 of 28 for my February Challenge
I painted this with only Burnt sienna and Pthalo Blue, looking at it now a little Alizarin Crimson would have added a little punch!
10 more to go and they may be hit or miss as the next week will be a little hectic! And my painting mind is becoming a little soggy. (ok, a lot soggy).
Love it! The overlaid colours are just beautiful - and excellent leaving of the white ! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat, my favorite part is the shadow under the right flipper!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition and I like the value contrast. You are doing great with your challenge!
ReplyDeleteWow, Maria, you are on fire! You have really been doing some good painting!

ReplyDeleteI love the neck of the seal. Good luck with next week. I'm assuming it's the convention that's gonna have you busy?
ReplyDeleteDiana, radishes...hmm....maybe I will buy some from the store to paint, do I have to eat them when I'm done painting them!?
ReplyDeleteThanks Gretchen, yes, the convention will definitely add to a full week! Look forward to seeing your paintings in person.
