ReplyDeletePat, I think a little of both! I feel like I am gaining more confidence with my colors and where to put them, my sketches are getting put down much faster, I am forcing myself to look for the values (so hard!).
ReplyDeleteBut on the other side, I feel a little rushed because I do a lot of looking in between painting, to see what's right and not right, and the details of my daily paintings are not as good, so I will update this at the end of the month and give you a final answer on this question!
Gretchen, Woohoo! almost half way there! I am going to celebrate on the 14th (Valentines Day!) which is our halfway point, maybe buy a coveted item from Dick Blicks Art Supply!
