Painting number 12 of 28 for the month of February.

I think this is my first people portrait, besides my horse riders!  Struggled a lot with color, I don't think I know what color people are....  My colors muddied a bit as I fussed, trying to get my colors right.  I must admit I searched my talented, portrait painting, watercolor, blog friends to see what colors were in their people... thanks all of you!   People painting was not terrible, may try another....not tonight though.

    Theresa, I like the colors of the face the best, they stayed more true, but that was my focus on the painting, and I will say I planned it that way....
