My studio is a work in progress. I have carved out a spot in our unfinished, walk out basement for my studio. Mostly it consists of a few tables and shelves, always reorganizing, adding something new, but it is such a happy place for me.
Wanted to share and I will post more pictures as it grows and unfolds, hoping to add some flat files and a new easel, maybe a drafting table, better lighting....some day!
Maybe even some heat for the winter months...brrrrr...
Looks like a fine space!ReplyDelete
Perfect for creating :) xx

So nice to have your own spot, Maria. I started out near the bow window in my dining room and now have a two room addition on the north side of my house with north light and I've finally (after almost two years) added the drafting table, daylight magnifying lamp and other fun stuff to make my painting life easier. It takes time and lots of $$$ (which isn't easy to come by these days) but it will happen. I am not a patient person but this has taught me a few things about "good things come to those who wait." :) Enjoy your space!ReplyDelete
I'm still working out of the laundry room. One day I will find a little more space. Lol!!ReplyDelete
I like it, and you have great light!ReplyDelete
Maria, it looks like a very comfortable place to create. And heat would definitely be a good idea!ReplyDelete
