I have spent the last week working on a horse portrait, it is a surprise so I can't share just yet!  While waiting for layers to dry, have been working on this 8 by 10 inch watercolor of a black lab.  Loved her expression as she watched her house, waiting patiently for her owner to come outside, where she waited on this bench in front of the barn.  For Sale Here

  7. Thank you so much! Black can be a bit of a challenge, sometimes it seems that the colors are too bold and other times they lack any punch, tough to get the right balance!

  9. Oh, thank you Theresa! I am beginning to think the secret to good art is having a good model, that makes everything easier! And she is such a pretty dog.
