This is one of the horse portraits that I was working on before Christmas.  I found it challenging to paint so large, and I usually don't paint people!  Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families, and will share some more of my portraits this week.

    Maria, for someone who doesn't "paint people" you did a very good job! And tackling something large is a challenge at first. Good for you!

    Thank you so much Kathryn. I did find it hard to go back to a smaller painting after this one, it felt a little crowded! Christmas was nice, enjoyed the time with the kids and family, hope yours was wonderful as well.
