black barn cat in watercolor 8 by 10 inches on Arches watercolor board © Maria Reichert
I've know some interesting barn cats from when I first started to ride horses, Butter and Cream, Kitty, Mamma Kitty, Tiger, Soda (that might have been a bunny!?), had a few clinic kitties at my vet clinic, Iris (missing one eye), Tootsie (missing a few toes) Pinny (with a pin in her femur). This one is the latest feline character I have met, don't know his name, I will call him "the Master Mouser". This is watercolor 8 by 10 inches on Arches watercolor board
this is just beautiful, I painted one so much like this a few years ago, a relative of master mouser maybe??
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Thank you Laurie, I try to entertain myself while my daughter rides her horse, usually means I stalk the horses, dogs, and cats of the barn, taking pictures, and thinking of painting them!
ReplyDeleteLove it and Love, Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lee, I liked how the sun was shining in the barn doors, wanted to show all that light.....

ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, great job!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer! I will spray this with gloss Krylon UV varnish, so it will not need to be behind glass when framed.
