a horse portrait work in progress

Working on this one a bit today.  Took this photo as my daughter was riding, I was wandering around the farm, trying to get photos of the mares and foals in the field, but this mare wanted to see what I was up to and kept sticking her nose through the fence to check out my camera!

  4. I really love this extreme close-up...I had the same thing happen when I was photographing some cows once. Makes for a very cool composition! I like how you have handled the mane so far, too.
