Here is a a progress sequence of painting Rufus in watercolor. From the sketch to the finished product. Rufus is a basset hound that belongs to a friend, and he is a frequent companion at the barn and horse shows. His owner called him my muse. (I had to look that up in the dictionary!) But yes, I believe he may be my muse :)
He is adorable, your muse! Love the colors, especially the pink in his nose!
