Not Too Scary

To be honest, I was always a little intimidated by the cows in the vet hospital when I was in school, but really, this fellow doesn't seem too scary :) I painted this for the Daily Paintworks Challenge, Animals Up Close.

      Thank you Pat! I really liked the cowlicks (no pun intended!) on his face, they were why I wanted to paint him!

      Thank you Jane, he was so fun to paint, I got a little dark though and had to add some white gouache for highlights in his coat.
