"She just couldn't decide between being an artist when she grew up and being a vet. Her mother responded, you don't have to decide sweet girl. you can be both."
"If animals could speak, the dog would be a blundering outspoken fellow; but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much." ~Mark Twain
Maria these are wonderful! It's so exciting to see another artist's growing abilities because that's what I want to do. The colors are amazing and of course I love the subjects.
Thank you so much Debbie, and i feel like the credit for these goes to the photographer, just LOVE it when people send the PERFECT photo to work from, almost feels like Im cheating!
Thank you Pat, some just come easier than others, do you find that with your painting days? Some just flow and others seem to be a bit of a struggle ?!
Thank you Sheri, I loved painting these two, a client of my husbands vet practice, sent me these two wonderful photos to work from, to surprise his wife for her birthday. It was such a pleasure to work from these pictures, great lights and darks. Look forward to seeing your cat paintings!
