Being a vet, and being married to a vet, I have so many friends who tell me their children would like to become veterinarians. It is tough to steer kids in that direction, based on the expense of attending vet school. So difficult to pay off those student loans on a vets salary.
Beautiful painting and such love you've captured. I've never thought about how much it costs to be a vet. wow. of course it would. I had thought about it when I was much younger, But art seemed to win over everything.. I know you are a wonderful,caring vet as well as artist. love to you,Diana

Thank you Pat. It's funny to see how the vet schools have become primarily women. I think the men don't believe the cost is worth the salary coming out of school. Will be interesting to see how the trend continues.
