True Inspiration

So my daughter has a friend. We have known her many years, they showed in 4H horse shows together.  She is recently out of high school and in Honduras on a mission trip.   Here is a painting of one of the children she has worked with on her mission trip.  I will frame this and give this to her when she returns.  I follow her trip online, and can't help but admire her bravery and her very loving heart.   I pray for her each night when my head hits the pillow.  She is so very inspiring to me and a reminder of how much good there is in the world.

      This is a beautiful portrait Maria! I think she will be very happy with it. The colors are so nice and the expression on her face is great! She is fine young lady to go on a mission in Honduras. Not the most easy way to start after school. Very humble of her!

      Thank you Jane, this photo was so nice to work from, such nice cool and dark colors to see and paint from. Can't wait to gift it when she returns from her mission :)
