dog number 9 of 30

Basset Hound watercolor 5 by 7 on paper © Maria's Watercolor Art
Number 9 of the challenge paintings.  I used only three colors, quinacridone gold, burnt sienna, French Ultramarine blue.  I think I need to simplify to get to the 30 painting mark :)

  1. Fabulous job on this one Maria, love the warm/cool play and your simplification. And that eye says doggie in the most perfect way. :-)

    1. Thanks Dottie! May have to write that word SIMPLIFY in big letters above my desk, this 30 in 30 is challenging!

    1. Thank you so much! I painted the shepherd in honor of a friend, who lost their dog unexpectedly this last week, I still need to mat it and deliver it. I am glad you like it, I hope they will too.
