The Open Door, black horse in watercolor

A loose watercolor which from a photo my daughter texted to me from on top of her horse.  She was riding bareback with no bridle in the indoor arena, on one of those cold winter days, and her horse found something interesting to see outside the door.

Reminded me of this little quote I saw somewhere, could not find the author of the quote, but I liked it!

"When one door closes another opens or you can open the closed door that's how doors work"

    1. Thank you Theresa! I was thinking of you this week, as I was asked to paint a portrait of a bucking bull, long horns....I immediately thought of you and your beautiful, acrylic, long horned cattle! I will post a progress shot of it here shortly. Enjoy the weekend :)
