Progress on this portrait

Worked on this most of yesterday, had a few frustrating moments and a few thoughts of tearing it up and starting over, but...I think I am happy here with it.  Going to give it a little rest, and a lot of looking at, maybe finish up tomorrow.  Enjoy the sunshine today (hope it is shining where you are!)

      Thank you Diana! Its funny how a painting goes through stages, I always love the first loose washes, but then I worry I have over done the painting, it helps for me to go slow, and take a day or two just to LOOK :) Have a great day Diana.

    Love this little one! The tilt of the head, the inquisitive eyes and the stunning colours - they all add up to a fabulous portrait!
